What will my experience look like?
We’re committed to supporting you with an exceptional product and customer support experience.
Over the next 12 months, we’ll work with you and the Explo team to better understand what you love most about Explo, so we can identify and address any potential gaps in Omni. During that time, we’ll work with you to ensure a smooth transition to Omni — and no downtime for your customers.
As an Omni customer, you’ll get to use the new features our engineering team releases every week and receive white-glove support from our customer success team.
How will my Explo contract change?
We understand that when you choose an embedded analytics vendor, you’re not just buying a technology. You’re trusting a partner to deliver value to your customers in a way that makes sense for your business.
To make this transition as seamless as possible, your pricing will remain the same through the end of your current contract. Prior to your migration to Omni, we’ll work with you to understand your business model and deliver fair and transparent pricing to support your continued growth.

General
What is happening with Explo?
Explo has been acquired by Omni and is now a wholly owned subsidiary. You’ll continue to have full access to the Explo platform for the next 12 months — including all product functionality and the ability to add new users. During this time, we’ll work closely with each customer to ensure a thoughtful and supported transition to Omni before sunsetting the Explo platform.
Why is the product being sunset?
By integrating into Omni’s platform, the Explo team can offer a more scalable, reliable, and fast-evolving embedded analytics solution — backed by rapid product releases and a white-glove customer experience.
Migration
Will I be required to migrate to Omni’s platform?
Yes, we intend to migrate the majority of customers to Omni over the next 12 months. We will work with you to plan the exact timing of your migration based on your needs and current contract. We’re here to support a transition timeline that works for your team.
What if there are features missing in Omni’s platform?
We recognize there may be some differences between platforms today. Omni’s team is actively working to identify and close any gaps, and we’ll partner with you to understand what’s most important. The Omni engineering team releases new features rapidly, and we’re confident we can deliver a great experience together.
How will the migration work?
We’ll collaborate with customers to identify a transition timeline that aligns with your business goals, and we can provide dedicated support for the transition to Omni’s platform. Migration resources will include:
- Step-by-step migration guides
- 1:1 migration support
- Migration tools
We’ll continue to adapt and expand these resources based on your feedback and needs.
Will there be downtime during the migration?
We are committed to putting the customer experience first, both during and after the migration. Our plan and recommended steps will ensure zero downtime for you and your customers.
Explo will remain fully operational during the transition period, and we’ll partner with you to identify the best migration strategy and timeline for your business.
Support
Who can I contact with questions?
The Explo team will remain your main point of contact and will guide you through the migration via Slack or support@explo.co. Once you’re migrated to Omni, we’ll introduce you to your dedicated account team and Omni’s team of product experts for ongoing support. However, in the meantime, the best place to find support is with the Explo team since they know the product best.
Financials and contracting
Will pricing change after migrating?
There will be no changes to your current pricing for the remainder of your existing contract. During your migration, we’ll work with you to share fair and transparent pricing for a new agreement.
Are there any changes to billing between now and migrating?
No. Billing will continue as usual through the end of your current contract. As we work with you on your transition to Omni, we’ll share updated billing details and documentation. If your migration timeline extends beyond your current contract, we’ll work with you to find a solution that meets your needs.
What if I have specific requirements and protections that I need prior to migrating?
Omni holds the same enterprise-grade compliances and undergoes rigorous audits, just like Explo. These include SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA. You can learn more about Omni’s security practices here. For specific data residency or contractual protections, we’ll work with you to match what you had in place with Explo. We’re happy to sign additional documentation to ensure continued trust.

What happens if I do not migrate within the next 12 months?
If your contract extends beyond our planned sunset of the Explo platform in 12 months, we’ll work directly with your team to avoid any disruption. That said, we strongly encourage all customers to complete their migration before the sunset date to ensure a smooth and timely transition.
Where can I find updates on the transition?
We will maintain this page, and you will also receive regular updates throughout the 12-month transition period.
